Albert & Nikki: Engagement

Albert & Nikki have such a connection it’s not even funny! Their love for one another is very obvious, so it was very easy to photograph there engagement session. I wish I could take the credit but they are very comfortable behind the camera. Here are a few of my favorites.

Our love story is a story involving the power of destiny. In 2003 I held a party at my mother’s house. My now fiance noticed me, but I didn’t notice him at all. He told my cousin about his interest in me and so I was asked to go on a blind date with him the next weekend. I accepted not knowing what to expect. We had a really short date-movies-popcorn-pizza-then he took straight home.Very quick and simple. I was only 18 years old-naive-immature -not to mention that I was to go off to UC Riverside to start college that same month. Hence, there was no time to focus on anything else other than school.

Four years went by and in the last month of 2007 we saw each other again at another family gathering. Since that day, we talked almost everyday over the phone and dated for about 2 months until he asked me to become his girlfriend.
A year and a half went by and on July 2009 he popped the question I was dying to hear on our favorite bench that looks over the ocean. The way he did it was very meaningful since he wore the same clothes he wore on our first date . He took me to the same restaurant where we had our first date, and then we went to the same beach and sat on the same bench where we had our first kiss.
We have become each others confidential, lover, best friend. There is one thing we haven’t yet become -each others life partner- and that we cannot wait for

Riverside Mission Inn: Robert & Gloria Engagement

Robert & Gloria are obviously in LOVE! They were in engaged last year at the lovely Riverside Mission Inn so we headed off to the same location. I had so much fun hanging out with you both, I can’t wait for your wedding next month!

El Matador Beach: Carlos & Susana

Yeah this weekend was filled with loads of fun and love, Susana is a high school friend that I recently connected with again on facebook! She contacted me a few weeks ago and told me that she was getting married in Las Vegas NV at the fabulous Wynn hotel! I can’t wait to shoot there wedding next month. Here is a few pictures of the lovely Susana & Carlos you two rocked it and clearly are in LOVE!

Riverside Mission inn|Fairmount park Chris & Sarah:Engagement

Corey & Claudia: Engagement

I spent last weekend with Corey and Claudia, We where hoping for a non rainy day and thank the lord it was not raining we first spent the afternoon at the beautiful California citrus park. Then we stopped by the Riverside Mission inn. Thank you both for making me smile inside as we spent the afternoon with each other! I hope you enjoy your pictures.

Santa Monica Pier: Taj & Jennifer Engagement

Here are more pictures of Taj and Jennifer engagement session at the Santa Monica Pier we had loads of fun thank you Jennifer and Taj for being fabulous see you on your wedding day!

Taj tricked Jennifer and said he had a corporate meeting and after the meeting they were having a cocktail hour at the Ayres Hotel and he wanted Jennifer to meet him there. Jennifer was excited to go because they hadn’t been back to the hotel since they met there 2 1/2 years prior.

On Jennifer’s drive over, Taj told Jennifer to come upstairs to the balcony where the party was being held. Jennifer thought, “What balcony, I don’t remember a balcony. And nothing for meetings on the second floor, but whatever I will just go.” When Jennifer arrived she went up the stairs and walked right passed the entrance to the balcony. Once she realized where the balcony was she thought, “There is no one out on the balcony.”

Then, she looked around the corner and saw what was really waiting for her. Taj was sitting at a table with a red rose and a bucket of champagne on ice. One of their songs, No One by Alicia Keyes, was playing in the background. Taj came to Jennifer, standing in shock, and got down on one knee and asked Jennifer if she would make him the happiest man in the world and marry him. Of course she said yes!

Look at how happy they are!
