I can’t believe I am typing this already! Yup 2011 is coming to an end. My 2011 wedding year is officially over, I want to take a quick minute to thank all my wonderful clients and share a few highlights with you all. I can’t thank you all enough for allowing me and honoring me to play a small part in your special day. Thank you for trusting me. I wish you all the best in your future together. Eddie & Perla begin their new chapter in life at the Mariners Church, the day was full of excitement! Perla was full of anticipation and couldn’t wait to marry the man of her dreams. Here are a few of my favorites of the day.

I had the privilege to document yet another wedding at the gorgeous San Ysidro Ranch last month with Adam & Olga along with a few of their closest family and friends that traveled from different areas around the world to join them!

What made this day even more special is that Adam married the woman of his dreams at the same location he proposed. The day was beyond amazing and beautiful, as always here are a few of my favorites of the day along with some amazing detail shots that my good friend Gina Lee shot! Trust me they are stunning!

I want to thank all my 2010 clients for the new friendships and most of all thank you for allowing me to document your new life’s together! My 2010 wedding year is officially over and I can’t wait for the new wedding season to begin, for me it starts next month! Here are a few highlights from this year! Thank you everyone and have a happy holiday!

Jovanna was surrounded by her best friends and family, they laughed and joked while getting ready for the big celebration and new beginning of Michael and Jovanna life. The weather was around 100+ degrees! and even though it was so hot  Jovanna and her girls enjoyed themselves. Michael was full of anticipation while making sure everything was falling into place. He was filled with much joy and couldn’t wait to marry his soul mate Jovanna.

Their wedding Venue was decorated with yellow and purple colors as they are huge fans of the LA Lakers! Jovanna & Michael thank you so much for allowing me to play a part in your wedding day, I wish you both the best! Love you both, Elizabeth.

Todd & Alexis celebrated their new lives together at the beautiful San Ysidro Ranch in Santa Barbara only this time it was even more beautiful because the lavender flowers were bloomed.  I meet the both of them for the first time that afternoon since they both live in Atlanta. So I was eager to meet them! We had such an awesome connection, I couldn’t of asked for anything more.

Thank you Todd & Alexis for allowing me to document your love and your special day! I am very happy for the both of you.

I had the pleasure to document a beautiful wedding on the Athena Yacht .  I meet Christina and Sorrell for the first time that day, but I felt like I had known them forever! We started the day first by taking a few shoots of Sorrell and his soon to be brother in law’s and friends. As you can see we had some fun!

Thank you Sorrell and Christian for the memorable day! we had so much fun and I hope that are paths cross again! love you both =)

John and Monica met on the set of Bring it on! it was pretty amazing to see them on a movie, it was surreal! but amazing. I had the honor of documenting there love for one another at the lovey Rancho Las Lomas along side of the awesome Rita Clifton. The day was full of joy and laughter literally!  The love these two have is amazing there chemistry etc you name it! I wish you two the best!

When Claudia met Corey: A Facebook Reunion

It had been 23 years, 9 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days we gathered since the last time we met. He was in Canada while She spend her years in Sunny California.

Call it luck, fate, destiny, “perfect timing”, the Internet gods, or computer love-dunno. But after 5 months of daily conversation by phone, a “first sight” meeting that lasted 5 days, a friend’s Canadian wedding, and a drive back to L.A., we stopped in downtown Portland to eat.

La Fonda Restaurant was hardly the place I envisioned proposing to Claudia. Totally shocked her too apparently. We were talking and shopping rings, eating the best lunch plate, and enjoying eachothers company-like this had been our routine for 20 years.

We spent the afternoon looking at rings, pricing them, and comparing notes when I thought it would be a good time to propose. So, a few qualifying questions, few beers, and a “Will you marry me if I bought that ring” type confirmation later, I pocketed the shined, sized, and bought ring in less than ten minutes!

I got nervous so I went to the restroom to practice my speech and summon my courage. I returned to realize my courage was left at the bathroom door and there was never a speech!

So I gave her the bag which contained an empty ring box. Just as she was about to ask where’s the ring, I slid off the chair to one knee with a ring stealthily slipped onto my pinky. The gesture was more than the speech could have ever provided. All I know that I said something which she agreed to and we have been engaged ever since.

I am reminded of that day by Claudia’s smile, her giddy ways, and how she always seems to glow when she talks about the ring and our wedding day. She says she has never taken it off but to clean (I make it a habit when I clean it to get on one knee and place it on her finger!) it or wash her hair. I am amazed at how much she cherishes our engagement and our wedding day.

I didn’t expect a trip from L.A. to Canada, and Portland, Oregon with Claudia would add so much to my life. She is the love of my life I had to wait 23 years to receive. But 23 years is like 23 minutes in that we have shared so much in 2009!
